nes have been working in conjunction with AECOM consulting engineers to enhance their existing sustainability sections and clauses over the last 12 months. A comprehensive review of the following sections has already been carried out:
T14 – Ground Source Heat Pumps- T16 – Biomass Boilers
- V10 - Photovoltaics
For each of the above, new clauses and detailed guidance notes are available in the current version of the product. In addition to this, a set of sustainability guidance notes on subjects such as ‘Drivers for Change’, ‘Overall Performance Objectives’ and ‘Financial Incentives’ have also been produced and can be accessed from the guidance area in nes.
The next release of nes will contain further sustainability clauses and guidance notes for the following sections:
- T15 – Solar Collectors
- T19 – Combined Heat and Power
- V10 – Wind Energy Systems
