Product plans include major improvements
When we first acquired nes, we worked quickly to make a number of improvements to the software, such as introducing back-up and restore routines, facilities to produce equipment schedules within the published output and enhanced technical guidance, but we were keen to ensure that we didn’t stop there. For the March 2009 release a number of further improvements were added such as:
- Enhancement of ‘Publish to PDF’ facility
- Handling of images when publishing
- New guidance notes on sustainability and renewables issues
- Incorporation of new and updated British Standards into the database
- Review and enhancement of pre-edit questions
These improvements are set to continue for the next release of the product, which will offer significant enhancements on the time taken to insert and open sections and will further expand on the sustainability and renewables information present in the database.
